Kera Chandler, RN

A patient’s son and granddaughter wanted to recognize night nurse Kera Chandler. The whole 4th floor was fantastic, and so was CCU, but Kera really stood out. Not only did Kera do a magnificent job in providing medical care for my grandmother, but her heart was also in it. She cared for my grandmother like she would have cared for her very own grandmother. She held us, consoled us, and even cried with us. She gently bathed my grandmother up until her last breath. She made a horrible experience one of the best, most memorable, and lasting experiences we will ever share with my grandmother. She was a Godsend, and they don’t make them any better than this.
