Keri, our special care unit nurse, went above and beyond to help my son. When she felt like the information needed to be shared with doctors, she did not hesitate to communicate with them. She answered countless questions and if she did not know the answer, she went on a search to find it. She brought him toys without us asking and even engaged in friendly conversations with my other children.
As she was leaving work one day, Keri came to a different building and location to check and see if he was improving. When I was sad from what my child was experiencing, she offered words of encouragement and knowledge to reassure me that his situation was going to turn around. We are very grateful to have had her as a nurse during our stay.
