My wife was involved in a head-on collision and was brought to the Emergency Department with a severe leg injury. During the evening her pain went to a "level 20". She was literally screaming in pain. Keri knew something was terribly wrong. She acted as an advocate on behalf of my wife. My wife ended up with compartment syndrome and was at risk of losing her leg/foot. Keri contacted the physician and insisted he come in, regardless that it was the middle of the night. The physician came in and did emergency surgery at 2 AM and saved my wife's leg! Without a doubt, Keri prevented my wife from having her leg amputated. We are forever in debt for her care and compassion. What a wonderful spirit - she truly embodies our mission statement!
