November 2025 Honoree
Keri Morris, RN
In August, I gave birth to my second baby via VBAC. I was very scared and anxious as my first baby was a planned C-section, and I knew the potential risks that came with a VBAC delivery. Since my first delivery was a planned C-section, going into labor and everything that comes with it was a whole new experience for me.
It was a long night due to blood pressure and vital issues, but I was so fortunate and blessed to have Keri as my nurse throughout the whole process. She was so knowledgeable, comforting, and positive, explained everything to me in detail, never sugar-coated anything, and talked to me like we were friends who had known each other forever.
She made me feel comfortable and at ease with all the anxiety and fear that I was having throughout the process. Because of her knowledge, calmness, and quick reaction time, I successfully gave birth to a healthy baby boy via VBAC. Thank you, Keri, for helping me through everything.
