I could not speak due to throat problems. Keri would always make sure I got exactly what I needed and wanted without me feeling like I was a pain-in-the-neck. She could make me smile about any situation to take the edge off (example: I was feeling and looking like I was 110 years old and there was always something nice she would say about me). She would always say something nice about others as well. If I needed to get something across to someone, she was my voice when I didn't have one.
