Kerri went above and beyond to meet our patient's need and helped him cope with his pain. This patient is a 23 y/o young man who is in the military. He has been battling ulcerative colitis with no relief from the treatments he has tried. His family lives out of state and is not able to provide much support. He's had no visitors. Kerri has been his nurse for the past two nights and today on her day off she stopped and made him a care package consisting of a military build-a-bear, jolly ranchers and (the only thing he wanted his whole stay), a Wawa coffee.
