January 2013 Honoree
kerri shultz, RN
...we received news that our daughter had passed away in utero. That night, as we began what ended up being a very long labor process to deliver @ 32 weeks, I couldn't sleep. My husband was exhausted from emotions and was asleep. Kerri came to check on me in the middle of the night. She explained I was her only patient for the night. She stayed with me and talked with me for a very long time. She comforted me like she'd known me forever. She answered all of my questions. She was such a great support to me! I was told by the nurse the following day that Kerri called twice to check on me even though it was her day off. I'm very thankful for Kerri's kind heart!
Thank you, Kerri, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
