Kerrie demonstrated excellence in patient care by proactively supporting her Cath Lab Pre/Post nurses during an extremely busy day while being in charge. Not only did she offer assistance prepping patients when we were short staffed, but she did so without being asked.
As the day progressed we had a few complications with post procedure patients, requiring one on one care. She again assisted so cases could continue to start on time and at one point had to be in a room. She stayed well beyond the end of her shift to provide assistance with repositioning a TR band, completing an EKG for a patient with active chest pain, while additional care was being provided to manage a complicated groin.
Kerrie's teamwork mentality and help were outstanding throughout the day, allowing patients to receive the best care possible.
