I first met Kerrie during a telephone call made when I was trying to get information on my mother's recent breast cancer diagnosis. I live in Milwaukee. We met in person at my mother's first clinic visit at St Michael's Breast Care Center. She has also helped coordinate my mother's two surgeries and subsequent follow-up appointments. Throughout the six weeks that I've been interacting with Kerri, I've found her to be cheerful, informative, helpful, supportive, patient, and consistently kind to me and more importantly to my mother. I've been a practicing RN for 37 years and a nurse educator for over 30 years. I recognize an outstanding nurse when I see one and Kerrie certainly is. She is a shining "bright spot" during a frightening time.
