I arrived at Abilene Regional Emergency Room with flu and possible COVID-19 symptoms. I was desperately in need of care. I had a high fever, body aches, and shortness of breath and was immediately admitted into the hospital. For the first few days I had encountered many nurses but none like Miss Kerry. she delivered nothing less than first-class patient care. She demonstrated her attention to detail and technical prowess by explaining and administering prescriptions, ensuring my vital signs were accurate, which were essential in aiding the doctors' diagnosis and nursing me back to health. She took it an extra step further by ensuring my visitors were taken care of. It can be hard to find someone with that much passion for what they do. She may not have known, but I was a bit stressed about the coronavirus pandemic. I was quickly put to ease by Miss Kerry's motherly traits. I thank God for her spirit and her amazing way to put a smile on my face while still wearing her protective mask! Kerry, thank you and the staff for risking your lives to save mine!
