Kerry exemplifies the very best of the nursing profession. During a recent and deeply emotional situation, a patient in his care was nearing the end of life and expressed a need for spiritual support. He contacted numerous priests and local churches, going far beyond his assigned duties to ensure the patient's spiritual needs would be met.

Despite his efforts, no priest was immediately available. He gently and respectfully read the Last Rites to the patient, providing dignity and peace during an incredibly sacred time.

Kerry's willingness to go beyond standard nursing responsibilities demonstrates not only clinical excellence but profound empathy, moral courage, and servant leadership.

His compassion left a lasting impact not only on the patient but also on the family and colleagues who witnessed his act of kindness.
