Kerry Krasinskas, MSN, RN, CEN

Kerry is the kind of leader who makes a difference every single day, not because she seeks recognition, but because she genuinely cares about people. She has dedicated herself to helping our staff feel safe, supported, and prepared, especially around workplace violence prevention. She spends countless hours teaching, coaching, and sharing her expertise. She is always looking for ways to improve. She listens to frontline staff, values their feedback, and continuously adapts her education to meet their real needs.

What I admire most about Kerry is her positive and approachable nature. No matter how busy she is, she always makes time to help others. People naturally turn to her because they know she will listen, offer thoughtful guidance, and do whatever she can to help. She has a way of making people feel comfortable, respected, and heard.

Kerry is also an incredible teammate. She willingly steps up to support projects, events, committees, and colleagues whenever needed. She brings enthusiasm, wisdom, and kindness to everything she does, with humility and grace.

One of the strongest reflections of Kerry's impact is the trust she has built throughout our organization. People know her, respect her, and genuinely enjoy working with her. She leads with authenticity, integrity, and compassion, and those qualities shine through in every interaction. Because of her efforts, our staff are safer, our teams are stronger, and our culture is better.

Kerry embodies everything the DAISY Nurse Leader Award represents. Her dedication, leadership, and genuine care for others have made a lasting impact on so many people, and I cannot think of anyone more deserving of this recognition.
