While my daughter was recovering on the floor, my son at home was having his own crisis. Kerry told me, if needed, I could bring my son to the hospital to stay overnight. She cleared it with the Charge Nurse and notified the night nurse so that everyone was informed about the situation. It was just the kind of understanding that allowed me to handle the situation. She went over and above her duties to make sure I was okay even though I wasn't her patient.
