All the medical staff at FH DeLand did a great job but this nurse was an exceptional recovery nurse. From the moment I awakened until I left the hospital, Kerry was attentive to my needs. I was in quite a bit of pain and discomfort, but she assured me this wasn't unusual and immediately told me everything was going to be okay. She showed extreme patience, kindness and a genuine loving attitude. She even explained in detail what to do when I went home. She made me feel calm and relieved. I felt like I was awakened by an angel. The best part was that everything was okay because I found out I did not have cancer.

Nursing isn't just a job for Kerry, it is her ministry and I know she is a tremendous joy and incredible support to all her patients. She was a blessing to me that day and I will never forget her excellent and compassionate care.
