My wife and I came to Saline Memorial for a scheduled induction for our second child. Kestynn was one of our nurses, and she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. She checked on us frequently and was very personable. My wife is a Type 1 diabetic, and Kestynn made sure that my wife's blood sugar stayed within a healthy range throughout the entire labor. At one point my wife's dilatation stalled at 6 cm for a couple of hours. Kestynn recommended multiple methods to help progress the labor which ended up causing my wife to be more comfortable as well as move the labor along effectively.
Any time my wife had a question, Kestynn had a thorough and well-explained answer. As Kestynn's shift was nearing its end, we were really hoping that we would deliver our baby before Kestynn had to leave. Kestynn told us that she was not going to leave us until we had our baby, and shortly after that we had a healthy baby girl. Kestynn's wealth of knowledge and attentiveness really helped my wife, and I remained at ease through the labor and delivery process. I believe she was made to be a nurse and will have a long, successful career in helping others. Thank you so much to Kestynn and the other nurses and doctors who were there for us on such a special day.

Thank you, Kestynn, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
