The patient stated that she came in with severe pain. She said she was on edge and still upset over a cancer diagnosis. She stated that Kevan was so friendly and upbeat but also on his toes. She explained that she was going to MD Anderson and he shared a very uplifting, inspirational story about that hospital and how good they were with one of his family members. The patient said her spirits were lifted and he made her feel calm. She stated that if all nurses could be like him, just a smile and a kind word, meant so much. She stated he was the kindest nurse she ever had. God bless Kevan!
