Kevin is an exceptionally important part of our cardiac team at our office in Bay Shore. He takes time in talking to patients and works to get patients answers to help allay their concerns. He never talks down to anyone and always treats all members of the team with the utmost respect. There are numerous examples to choose from but I remember at least one very clearly below:

I had a patient who had significant difficulty in affording medications. She was at a satellite office so Kevin did not have many records to work with. Despite this, he spent countless hours on the phone with both her and her husband discussing various options of anticoagulation management. He helped them apply for more than one medication to find the one that would work for their budget. He even found creative ways for them to get samples until the medications that were ordered could be delivered to them. Although the patient ultimately decided not to use any of the medications, Kevin remained positive and was happy that he was able to at least give them a shot at getting the medications they need. Kevin is selfless and is the personification of excellence.
