In the five days I was recovering, not one nurse treated me with anything but kindness, understanding, and expert care. My room was opposite the nurses' station and I could hear everything going on throughout the shift and not once did I hear any nurses or staff criticize a patient under their charge. I thought that was extraordinary and it put me at rest knowing they were all dedicated to caring for us patients and not just putting in the time.

I am singling out Kevin because of his willingness to explain every procedure, test, drug, or source of my anxiety at the time. Kevin cared for me for 4 nights, ensuring I was as comfortable as I could be. Each night Kevin would spend some extra time with me going over any questions I had and letting me know what to expect next and how it all played into the recovery plan for my procedures. He was professional to both me and the receiving staff.

As a combat MEDEVAC pilot, I have seen some of the finest medics/nurses care for patients in every setting from combat field extractions to clinical care and Kevin is among the best I have seen. Every aspect of his care for me was the best I could hope for. I would trust Kevin to care for my wife, my daughter, or even my granddaughter.
