I would like to highlight a particular instance that made me decide to nominate Nurse Mark. During the pandemic, there was a time when Sir Mark was the only nurse who continued to provide care to all of us patients in the dialysis unit. He worked tirelessly, beyond the call of duty, to make sure that we received the life-sustaining treatments we needed. This made a lasting impact on us, the patients. His selflessness, dedication, and courage during this time were truly heroic and deserve this recognition.
