Kevin takes time and dedication to care for our Veterans. He spent over an hour preparing a bed bath, foot soak, hair cut, and washing and drying this Veteran's clothes. The Veteran had been in our care for over 6 months and at times could be apprehensive about daily hygiene practices. Kevin went above and beyond showing care, compassion, and true dedication to helping the Veteran get cleaned up. He showed the value of trust and rapport between the nurses and the people they're caring for. I take great pride in calling Kevin a co-worker, mentor, and above all, friend. My time working on 10 West and working with nurses like Kevin through his leadership, patience, and stoicism makes me strive to emulate the best possible way to practice nursing.
