In his nomination, Kevin's patient referenced how kind he was while the patient navigated severe anxiety prior to a procedure. As a person living with mental illness, the patient was prepared for a care team that did not quite know how to deal with her. Instead, thanks to Kevin's patience and compassion, the patient felt cared for. She said Kevin gave her dignity and made her hopeful for all future treatment at Saratoga Hospital.
