I came into the ER with terrible pain, which ended up being a kidney stone. Kevin was the perfect nurse. He reassured me that I would be taken care of and made me feel confident that I was in the right place - and that I was going to get the urgent care I needed. Kevin asked me questions but asked my husband questions that he could answer for me because the pain was so terrible I was having a hard time concentrating. Kevin explained every procedure, why it was important, what it would do for me, the doctor, and quickly administered the IV and pain medication so that I was able to get comfortable. Kevin was quick to answer when I had to hit the nurse call button - something I am still so grateful for! I know Kevin had other patients but he made me feel like I was the only one. One more thing that sticks out in my mind is that I literally came in without brushing my teeth and hair, I didn't have time to take a shower, brush my teeth, or even put on something other than pajamas…yet he didn't judge, didn't even seem to care. He just wanted to get me feeling better. I feel blessed to have had him as my nurse!
