My mom was in the ER for 4 days straight, so we had many nurses assigned to her care. Kevin Wenig stood out among all of them. He was kind, caring, and had a calming presence. It was evident that he truly cared about my mom and her well-being. He anticipated her needs before she even asked. For example, whereas it took 1.5 hours to ask for ice packs on a previous night, Kevin had them ready to go for when she needed them. Even though the ER was busy, he took the time to listen to my mom and answer our questions. We never felt rushed with him, and he was gentle and caring when he helped her move around. He was delightful to interact with and very humble when we let him know how much we appreciated him. I hope Kevin is recognized for his kindness and excellent care.
