Khalilah Brinson, RN

Khalilah Brinson gives outstanding care and shows determination in achieving a goal for patient care. Khalilah had stayed with a patient overnight for 8 hours with no power, using a flashlight during a windy, rainy, stormy night, adjusting the patient’s pain medication, and end-of-life terminal restlessness while the family surrounded her, yelling, worrying, and starting to grieve for the patient. She stayed and maintained her professionalism and went the extra mile to meet the patient's plan of care and comfort level. Khalilah showed love, compassion, and grace for the patient and loved one on the last days of the patient's life.
