Khloe was so special to my girlfriend and I because she went above and beyond to make sure my girlfriend had a safe and comfortable delivery. Khloe was there at every given moment without question. But to me what made this moment even more special was that she was the one who delivered my daughter. Not the Doctors, but Khloe! She stated to us that this was her first time ever delivering a baby so I’m happy we got to share that moment together. What is worth noting is that nurses at our hospital do not typically deliver babies independently, however, it is something that occasionally happens. In this situation, the provider had checked the patient, found her to be 8 cm, therefore, left the patient’s room to allow her to continue laboring. Khloe was in the room with the patient who progressed to fully dilated very quickly (less than 5 minutes later), and before she could call the provider back to return to the room, the baby’s head delivered itself, and Khloe caught the rest of the baby as it delivered! Quickly after that Khloe was able to hit the staff assist button to get the appropriate people into the room. Thank you for your quick action to ensure a great outcome for this little one!
