My first night in the hospital I could not sleep and was very scared and nervous. Kiana Cummings made a huge difference. Her thoughtfulness and compassion made her aware of how uncomfortable I was. She talked with me, made me laugh, and put me at ease. Kiana's concern for my well being can be measured by the speed of my recovery.

Kiana showed me something I did not understand. Nursing is more than monitoring the body and dispensing medications. Nursing is also caring for the spirit of the person.
