Our son has a unique condition not often seen in the NICU, which is his leg amputation. Kiana has taken advice from therapists on how best to work with his amputation and ensures all other nurses are following instructions. This will help alleviate issues when he is ready for a prosthetic leg and means the world to us parents!
Kiana has also worked to provide a mobile, decorated our son's entire room, and thinks about making each day a positive one. We have been in the NICU for four months and are tired. She brightens our spirits every day and is an exceptional nurse!
