I had surgery on the 13th and discharged on the 14th. My surgery was to determine if the cancer had returned and thankfully all results were negative. During that time I had the opportunity to have Kiera Rankin as my nurse, and I want to express my deep appreciation of her and her care during my stay. She demonstrated not only professionalism but compassion while I was in her care. I count her to this day as one of God's blessings during those 2 days. I am old enough to recognize what is real and what is not. Kiera is one of your assets and should be recognized as such.
