This nurse was the nurse that took care of me when I moved from cardiac cath lab (having a balloon pump placed) She went above and beyond during my open-heart surgery and after. She not only took care of me as a patient, but she also checked on my wife during my surgery and quickly made an impression on our hearts. She is knowledgeable as well as compassionate. She is truly an asset to your team and deserves to be rewarded for the great job she does.

My husband has been a patient in this hospital for almost 3 months. This nurse was our 1st nurse we had. She took such good care of him. But She also took amazing care of me. My husband is only 45 and has not been sick a day in his life so him becoming so sick and on life support in a matter of hours sent me into shock. This nurse realized that, and on top of taking care of 3 ICU patients she would sit with me, hug me and tell me not to lose hope. She checked in with me daily even though my husband was not her patient. If she saw me in the hall or somewhere else in the hospital she would ask how I was and remind me to not lose hope and be strong for him. Unfortunately, we are back in the ICU, but this nurse has continued to care for him and me. She is an amazing nurse and human. Ballad needs to hold on to this one.
