Without any prompting, Kiki wrote things down, took notes for me, texted me the big scary medical terms with context, and spoke up if she could see that I clearly was overwhelmed.
Kiki is an exceptional nurse and human being. We spent 111 days in the NICU with our son, born at 1 lb. 12 oz. at 29 weeks gestation. Kiki stood out because of her compassion and caring nature. She is extremely proficient at her job and went above and beyond to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. Whenever doctors would come by and explain complicated medical situations to me, I always felt like I understood at the moment. Of course, I forgot almost everything immediately after they would leave the room due to extreme stress. Without any prompting, Kiki wrote things down, took notes for me, texted me the big scary medical terms with context, and spoke up if she could see that I clearly was overwhelmed.

We had many wonderful nurses that cared for our sweet baby, but Kiki has a very special place in our hearts for always going the extra mile. She truly made us feel like we were the most important family she was caring for and I know she must have had that effect on many other families as well. We requested her for consistent nursing and my best NICU days were when I knew Kiki was caring for our little L. Thank you, Kiki, for the wonderful work you do.
