Kiki, I wish I could have given you the biggest hug and told you personally just how thankful I am for everything you did, not just for C, but for me too!
Ms. Kiki! The absolute sweetest human I’ve ever met. My 3-month-old was admitted to the hospital late and Kiki made sure to get me dinner and a phone charger. When I took him to the ER I was sure we’d be sent home so I showed up with my baby and a diaper bag. Kiki was with me through some of the hardest moments during our stay. Being admitted and my baby being intubated. She always explained everything to me so thoroughly and talked me through each step of the way and made sure I understood what was going on. She was my rock and I’m forever grateful she was with me in those hard moments. She let me sleep and bottle-fed him so I could get some sleep. I hadn’t slept in days and her offering to do that for me was beyond helpful and I appreciated it so much. The last time I saw Kiki I said “bye see you tonight!” at her next shift not knowing we’d be discharged an hour before she came in.
Kiki, I wish I could have given you the biggest hug and told you personally just how thankful I am for everything you did, not just for C, but for me too! There was a sign outside of the hospital that I saw when we left and it said “heroes work here” and as I drove us home I couldn’t help but think isn’t that the truth! Forever grateful for you and you will absolutely be someone I will never forget! Thank you!
