While I was confined to the ER (due to room shortage) I knew my wife would be frantic. She is unable to drive and my cell phone lost its charge. With no land line in the ER, I was at a loss at getting in touch with my wife to tell her how I was. On two occasions, Kim went beyond the call by providing her own cell phone to speak to my wife. Since my wife is disabled, the ability to speak with her provided great reassurance to both of us. I will always remember Kim's kindness. Some seemingly minor acts demonstrate the true caring and extraordinary dedication of this nurse.
