I was at Dr. S's office because I had taken sick. I had walked there because the roads were slippery and dangerous. When I came out of the appointment I was upset that I would be having to have a procedure. I had to walk through the snow bank to cross the road because cars come too fast down the side of the road that Dr. S's office was on. My foot slid on the snow and my leg went out from under me, my arm went out too. I fell on my knee. I didn't think I was hurt but Kim saw me and pulled her car over, got out and helped me. I was upset, thinking that I had lost my glasses which she helped me look for. I was just panicked. Once she calmed me down, she offered me a ride home and saw me in the door. She told me her name and that she was a nurse in endoscopy. I told her that I would be coming to see her. She was such a wonderful girl. I just think there should be some kind of award for being such a good human being. I just really appreciate all she did. I can't say enough.

What this patient didn't know is that her appointment hadn't been scheduled. Kim saw to it that she had her test scheduled, transportation arranged and her pre-procedure prescriptions would be delivered. I am so proud to have her on the team. I am not at all surprised to hear of this act of kindness. It represents the strong ethics and kind heart that Kim displays every day.
