My husband, the father of 3 sons and 6 grandchildren, appreciated Kim so much. My husband was admitted to UTMC with symptoms of pneumonia. Kim was so helpful with keeping him safe and comfortable and helping with everything. It was very frightening for us, not knowing if he was going to survive. We watched him struggle through it all. Kim was there working tirelessly and diligently, helping us to understand his issues. She was concerned about each of us as we went through our fears and concerns. Kim's skills were awesome, and her compassion was endless. My husband always smiled when she approached his bedside. Watching baseball with him and joking with him, she definitely stood out to us as a nurse willing to go beyond the normal call of duty. Thank you!
