Kim Besse, RN

I was admitted to the antepartum unit. Unfortunately, I lost my daughter and she was delivered still born, late term. Kim was one of our assigned nurses during my time and was the nurse on the shift the night it was found that my daughter no longer had a heartbeat. During a very depressing time, Kim was a light that I looked forward to being assigned to during my time there.

She was like my second mother, when I did not have my family close. The night that I lost my daughter, she held my partner and I, as we cried and made sure to get us the support we needed. She went beyond her duties as a nurse to ensure we were never alone during the most difficult time in our lives. I will never be able to repay her for being the calming presence that we needed.
