May 2023 Honoree
Kim Brady, RN
I was hospitalized in the ICU for a week. I went to the ER and was diagnosed with sepsis, a blood pressure of 50/38, and complete renal failure. Kim was my main nurse when I was admitted to ICU. She was excellent!
I was extremely sick, weak, and totally dependent on her care and help. She selflessly did everything she could to make me comfortable. I believe she was also responsible for adjusting my IVs and meds such as Levophed.
My mouth was extremely dry, and she brought me popsicles, mouth spray, chapstick, etc. to help alleviate the discomfort. She was kind in every way possible.
All of the nurses who tended to me were excellent, but Kim stands out in my mind as an RN who deserves special recognition for going above and beyond to care for her patient.
