Kim Cooper 2024, RN

I have had the privilege to work with Kim for three or four years now. I have never seen her compassion, empathy, loyalty, or kindness fall short of inspiring. Kim is supportive and encouraging and genuinely cares about her staff and those working beside her. She will never have an employee perform a task that she herself would not do. Her office door is always open for her staff. Whether you need to discuss a work situation, something happening at home, or simply just need a break, she is available.

She is the first to respond to an emergency or to a patient’s complaint. There are no patient complaints or matters that she will not tackle. She is determined and enthusiastic about providing the best patient care in the area. I have never witnessed a manager who is able to lead by example in the way Kim does. Kim puts endless hours into making the clinic a wonderful place to work. It is common to see her staying at the clinic late to complete a project or task. She places her personal life on hold at times so she can continue to improve the clinic and the care that is provided. Kim is underappreciated and taken for granted at times. As a staff member, I am unaware of everything she does for the clinic and us. She never expects her work to be acknowledged. She does not work endless hours to be praised or awarded. She does these things because she is passionate about patient care and her staff’s happiness.
