While rounding on a patient over the weekend, Kim found a patient to be very teary and upset because she wasn't going to be able to attend church. That is all she wanted to do. Seeing that this was the most important thing for this patient, she wheeled the patient down to the church service that takes place in the conference room so that the patient could worship on her Sabbath. She then picked her up and brought her back to her room after the church service was over. The patient was so thankful, and this nurse truly exemplified Whole Person Care and Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ that day. Kim lives our service standards and mission every day that she works and is a true blessing to every patient and employee she comes in contact with.
