Kim is simply amazing. There are not enough words to express how much she did for me while I was in the ICU. It was an extremely scary situation for me, but Kim stepped in to reassure me and made me feel safe and know I was in capable hands. I honestly felt like I was going to die and she did everything in her power to reassure me. Her calm and caring presence helped to ease my worries and high anxiety. She not only was a rock for me but also my family She never left the room until we all felt comfortable with all that was happening. She was a huge advocate for me and my family. Never once did she leave my side when I was having a low moment. With Kim, you can tell this is not a job-it's a calling and one she is amazing at. I did not want to leave the ICU because I did not want to lose Kim as my nurse. Her constant reassurance is what helped me fight to improve. I cannot imagine what would have happened or what my hospital stay would have been like if I did not have Kim as my nurse while I was in the ICU. She sets the bar very high when it comes to her job and patient care. The nursing department is extremely lucky to have such an amazing, compassionate, competent, and kind nurse on their staff.
