I, unfortunately, live in Ohio. Kim was taking care of my elderly father in the ICU and called me at 2am and told me that I needed to come to the hospital immediately to be with my father.
She also suggested that I speak to him over the phone at this time. It never occurred to me that he would be so lucid so close to his death.
What proceeded was a beautiful, positive, uplifting phone conversation that was completely clear and understood.
Because of Kim, I have a treasured last memory of my father that will undoubtedly carry me for the rest of my life. I will never forget her and what she did for me.
