She is one of the most genuine, caring, compassionate nurses I have known. She always has a calming presence regardless of the situation and always puts the patients first - regardless of how she may be feeling inside. The professionalism she displays is amazing as mentor, teacher, leader, and caregiver. She always is willing to ask questions to build on her knowledge and expertise and any areas of improvement. You will find her sitting holding a patient’s hand, taking the extra time to explain something to a patient/family, or just sitting with a patient being present with them if they need that. She always puts the patient in the center of what she does and is willing to jump in and help wherever needed. So grateful to have her as part of the Redwood team.
