Kim started her shift at 7 p.m. while I was admitted for labor. I had been in the hospital since noon, and at that point was really starting to struggle with contractions and pain. Kim was incredibly calm and patient. While I received my epidural, she was able to help me breathe and stay relaxed through the process I was terrified of. When it came time to deliver a few hours later, she was nothing short of amazing. She had a very calming demeanor and helped me feel supported throughout labor.

I'll never forget how she made me feel during my stay. Her assistance in helping me get out of bed, use the bathroom for the first time, and with postpartum care was incredible. She helped me feel confident that I could get through the next difficult part as well. I'll never forget how she made me feel when I asked for a snack after delivering. I asked her if I could have a PB&J, and she chuckled and said, "You just had a baby, you deserve that sandwich and anything else we can get you to eat." Kim was amazing!

Thank you, Kim, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
