Kim Jasicki, RN
This morning I came home from chemo and shared how lovely those two hours had been because of Kim. It is not what she says… It is not what she does… It is about how she makes me feel as a person! She makes me feel happy to be in MMC Oncology! I have AML but I never feel AML is as daunting as it could be when I talk with Kim. Kim performs all professional duties with comforting ease and skill while talking to me about mutual interests: flowers, books, and family.
Today while I was attached to the chemo rack she presented me with a jar of freshly made strawberry preserves. I have shared books with Kim. Kim is a skilled nurse who has become a treasured friend through who she is as an RN. I have been in Kim’s care for 15 months; she makes everyone in Oncology feel special! She is certainly one of MMC-Rice Lake’s biggest assets as well as a star in her chosen profession.
