Kim Kempe, BSN, RN

I have been through many personal challenges this past year and Kim has always been there for me. Kim usually makes it to work before the night shift leaves so that she can address any of their questions and/or needs. She makes sure to follow up on any concerns that we have and gets back to us quickly with answers. It may not always be the answer that we want, but at least she gets back with an answer. Kim jumps into the staffing count when the census has been high. She goes above and beyond her role as a senior manager and has done a lot for the unit over the past year since she’s been here. It’s so nice to have a manager who is both Banner Health and management savvy along with being empathetic and understanding with bedside nurses. She navigates and balances these two roles very well. I hope that she stays a long time!
