Kim Leary has generously shared her wealth of knowledge and experience. Her insight and dedication make a lasting impact on everyone she works with, and we appreciate her for all that she does for her patients and team.
Her expertise and calm presence shine through in even the most critical situations. One specific instance is when a patient’s trach unexpectedly popped out, and the patient was desaturating quickly.
While everyone else feared the worst, especially given the patient’s history of multiple cardiac arrests, Kim was the only one who remained calm. Her composure and quick thinking ensured the situation was handled effectively, demonstrating the incredible skill and professionalism she brings to every challenge.
As a preceptor, she is incredibly supportive, always willing to help, and consistently patient. While she may be soft spoken, her actions speak volumes. She may not realize how much we notice, but we see her quiet strength, her brilliance, and her unwavering commitment to excellence in nursing.
Kim is truly an exceptional nurse, and she deserves to be recognized for her tireless work and unwavering dedication. What makes her truly special is her care, compassion, and steadfastness remind us that it’s never about dodging a bullet, it’s about trusting that God always has a plan. She exemplifies that even on your worst days on the floor, there is always something to be thankful for.
