Kim was nominated by a patient who stated Kim’s quick action “saved my life”. The patient became ill after receiving a pain medication. Kim stayed with the patient calming her and treating her symptoms. Suddenly the patient’s respirations slowed. Kim reacted quickly and provided the needed medication to counteract the pain medication. The patient quickly recovered.
