I was a patient for cancer treatment and a stem cell transplant for recurring Hodgkin's Lymphoma in the late summer and fall of 2013. From the very beginning Kim went out of her way to answer any questions I had and explain exactly what would happen and when. I was unaware at the time that I had one doctor for the whole process, one nurse for cancer treatment and one for transplant. I did not have a lot of family members available to me during this time, but Ms. Miller was willing to make me feel like she was more than just concerned for a patient. I felt like she was a sister. We shared a lot of stories together about kids, family, growing up, and just overall interests. Many of the people did a great job, but I felt she always knew how to make me smile and make me feel at ease during a very difficult time in my life. I felt like the most important thing she had going on! We still talk now and then when I come back for checkups. She has a unique skill for caring and can always bring a smile to my face. This woman was born to be in a profession that needs caring people, and she is one of the best I have ever experienced.
