Kim Morel, RN

Kim has been steadfast in supporting our delivery of systemic therapy to oncology inpatients at EMC.  She demonstrates willingness, commitment, flexibility, teamwork, and dedication to our patients by frequently volunteering to stay over her scheduled shift and/or float to other inpatient units to provide chemotherapy and immunotherapy to this patient population.  Kim has recently demonstrated her patient-centered focus by taking such actions for three consecutive weeks to provide ongoing treatment and continuity of care to a long-term patient. Additionally, she has done this within the context of high census, high acuity, significant staffing, challenges, and, the additional stressors of a major holiday period.
