Passi was nominated by family members of a patient for her extraordinary caring, kindness, and competency, and always putting others before herself.

"We first met Kim when our father was diagnosed with cancer. We do not live close by, so the first meeting was a phone call. Kim was able to comfort us as we shared many concerns. Kim was our eyes and ears when we were unable to be in Eau Claire.

Whenever we called with questions, Kim called back the same day, even if it meant staying late at her job late. Kim's upfront, honest approach was very appreciated. During COVID-19, it was especially hard to support our father. When we couldn't be in the exam room, Kim was sure to be with him during his doctor appointments. When our father passed away, Kim reached out to check on us. We truly believe we have a living angel working among us. In our opinion, Kim should be the role model for other nurses who want to touch the lives of their patients and their family members."
