From a patient
Kim Reams went above and beyond to answer all my questions. She consistently came in to check up on me, made sure I was comfortable, and talked to me while she worked on me to keep me company. Always greeted me and my visiting family with a smile and helped them understand my ongoing needs. She made me feel like she enjoyed taking care of me. Kim deserves to get this award because she is the nurse who made my stay significantly better.
From a family member
Kim Reams is amazing! She was patient with me and willingly answered all the questions I had about my father’s medications. She kept in touch with the doctors when I questioned changes with his meds. She explained the times in which he would take his meds, and made sure that I understood the need for the meds he was given. She was so attentive to my dad’s needs and would go out of the way to make him smile. She made him feel like it was her sole accountability to make him feel welcomed and comfortable, in addition to giving him great health care! Kim is an asset to your health care team and I am so happy that we were fortunate to have her assigned to us for care. From a patient’s perspective, the two things you remember most when you reflect back on a hospital stay is the care you received from the nurses, and the food, of course. When we reflect back on this week we will most definitely remember Kim Reams and how compassionately she took care of not only my dad but our entire visiting family.
